About Me
Hi! My name is Todd Cook and I'm looking to meet new contacts in the outside world. I'm a co-founder of Nebraskans for Prison Reform and serve as the President of the Circle of Concerned Lifers at the Nebraska State Penitentiary. I've earned a paralegal diploma, and an associates degree in business. I'm currently working on a bachelors degree in business administration. I believe that telling my story is a step in the direction to help others avoid a tragic and heartbreaking end. As a result, I have written Lessons Learned: From Playground To Penitentiary, and Convict Logic: From Leadership to a Better Life. These books are a testament to the power of perseverance and determination, which proves that the failures of our youth do not define us into adulthood. I hope you will check them out and drop me a line to let me know what you think.
My mission in life is to do something great to give back, and to make up for the harm that I've caused. I failed miserably at life when I was 18 years old and I regret allowing my desire for acceptance to fuel my decisions. It cost me more than I can ever say, and I now live everyday in a way that respects the loss of life that I'm responsible for.
I'm a Christian, and believe God has a plan for my life. I seek guidance, and find hope in His word.
